A heartfelt thanks to my big sis Leah, a lifelong Mets fan, for keeping up NoNoHitters.com during my vacation this past week.

It looks like I picked a good time to be away from the Mets, but I must apologize for subjecting her to doing blog updates during a week that could go down as one of the Mets’ worst of the 2008 season.

I got to watch the exciting Mets-Yankees Delgado foul-pole game before embarking on a five-night family cruise, but was fortunately without SNY or even ESPN on the ship during the Mets’ 0-5 stint in Atlanta and Colorado.

I had no idea that the Mets would be below .500 upon my return. I was enjoying finer Mets memories reading Matthew Silverman’s “100 Things Mets Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die” while sipping on a frozen drink on the Lido Deck.
