7,680: Uggla’s two homers lift Marlins over Mets 7-2

Ouch

Dan Uggla homered twice off Mets starter Oliver Perez Friday as the Florida Marlins topped New York 7-2.

It was another Bad Ollie outing, with Perez giving up 7 earned runs on nine hits and three walks over 3 1/3 innings. Four of those hits were homers, with Chris Coughlan and Gaby Sanchez getting the other two.

Perez lost his no-hitter in the first inning on a Hanley Ramirez single, advancing our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,680 New York Mets games with no no-no.
