7,730: Back-to-back homers off Dickey lifts Braves over Mets

Lousy back-to-backers

R.A. Dickey yielded back-to-back seventh-inning homers to Melky Cabrera and Omar Infante Friday as the Atlanta Braves topped the New York Mets 4-2.

Dickey threw for 6 2/3 innings, yielding four runs (three of them earned) on nine hits and two walks while striking out six. He lost his no-hitter in the first inning on a Melky Cabrera single, moving our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,730 New York Mets games with no no-no.

The Mets scored their runs on a David Wright sacrifice and a Jose Reyes RBI double.
