Where’s the offense?

Tim Hudson shut out the Mets for seven innings and the Braves’ bullpen finished the job Saturday as Atlanta topped New York 4-0 at Citi Field.

Mets starter Mike Pelfrey got pounded for 12 hits in just four innings of work, giving up four earned runs and walking three. He lost his no-hitter on a first-inning Brian McCann single, bumping our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,731 New York Mets games with no no-no.

Hudson gave up just four hits (three of them from Angel Pagan) and two walks in his start.

The Reds tagged Mike Peflrey for seven runs Monday as Cincinnati topped the New York Mets 8-6 at Citi Field.

The Mets survived a rocky start by Mike Pelfrey to avoid a series sweep with a 6-5 win over the Florida Marlins.

Pelfrey was rocked for 12 hits and four earned runs in 4 2/3 innings of work. He lost his no-hitter on a Chris Coughlan lead-off single, advancing our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,722 New York Mets games with no no-no.

The New York Yankees halted the Mets’ winning streak at eight Saturday with a 5-3 Subway Series win at Yankee Stadium.

It was a rare loss for Mets starter Mike Pelfrey (9-2), who gave up a two-run homer to Mark Teixeira in the third and another to Curtis Granderson in the fourth.

Pelfrey lost his no-hitter right away when Brett Gardner hit a lead-off single, advancing our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,712 New York Mets games with no no-no. The Mets hit four homers, including two by David Wright, to lead New York to an 11-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles Sunday for a three-game sweep.

Mike Pelfrey has a less than stellar start but got the win to improve to 9-1. He yielded three runs on nine hits and three walks in six innings of work, losing his no-hitter when Corey Patterson led off with a single to bump our NoNoHitters.com count up to 7,707 games with no no-no. Ike Davis blasted an 11th-inning walk-off homer and Mike Pelfrey pitched a nine-inning gem Tuesday as the New York Mets topped the San Diego Padres 2-1 at Citi Field.

Pelfrey allowed just one earned run on five hits and no walks while striking out six.

He lost his no-hitter in the first inning on a Chase Headley single, advancing our NoNoHitters.com count to 7,702 New York #Mets games with no no-nos. Adrian Gonzalez followed Headley’s hit with an RBI double for the Padres’ only run of the game.

The Mets tied the game in the seventh inning when Jose Reyes hit a ball to left that hit just above the orange line on the home-run fence. Reyes was awarded the round-tripper after a video review.

The Reyes homer was the only earned run given up by Clayton Richard, who threw seven-innings of seven-hit ball.

Pelf comes through again

Mike Pelfrey threw eight strong innings Tuesday to lead the New York Mets to a 4-2 win over the San Diego Padres at Petco Park.

Pelfrey lost his no-hitter on a second-inning Nick Hundley single (second time in a row Hundley’s been a stinker) for the 7,697th New York Mets game with no no-no. Pelfrey gave up just a single run on four hits and two walks while striking out eight.

Jason Bay’s first-inning single off Wade LeBlanc moved the Padres’ no no-hitter count to 6,596 games. The Padres have been at it since 1969, while the Mets have been no-no-less since ’62.

David Wright went 3-for-4 with a solo homer and an RBI single, and Ike Davis added a two-run home run.
