Bickford on Friday, August 11, 1950, no-hit the Brooklyn Dodgers for a 7-0 win at Braves Field. It was the franchise’s last no-no in Boston.

Alvarez, in just his second major league start on Sunday, August 11, 1991, threw a no-hitter against the Baltimore Orioles for a 7-0 victory at Memorial Stadium.
