The Houston Astros’ Tatsuya Imai threw six innings of no-hit ball and two relievers finished the job on Monday as the Astros no-hit the Texas Rangers for a 9-0 victory at Globe Life Field.
Imai was pulled after throwing 97 pitches, striking out two and walking four, Steven Okert held the Rangers hitless in the seventh inning and Alimber Santa, making his major-league debut, worked the eighth and ninth innings to complete the Astros’ 18th no-no.
