The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League (AAGPBL) was a professional women’s baseball league that began play in 1943, continuing through the 1954 season.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of A League of Their Own. — the 1992 film that popularized the league for a new generation — I’ve done my best to put together a mostly comprehensive list of AAGPBL no-hitters (I’m currently up to 56), culling game details from newspaper accounts, websites such as aagpbl.org, help from researcher Gary Belleville and W.C. Madden’s superb The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Record Book.
There may be a handful of missing no-nos, particularly in 1948. If you have any additional dates, box scores or story clippings to share, please email me at dirk@nonohitters.com and we’l try to get them added to this list.
Here is our list of AAGPBL no-hitters
