The Tampa Bay Rays are one of the American League’s newest clubs, entering the league in 1998 as the “Devil Rays.”
Yet despite that young age, the Rays have fallen victim to the perfect game three times — matching the record of a club that debuted in 1884 (the Dodgers). The Rays have also been no-hit three more times for a total of six.
Here are the no-hitters against the Tampa Bay Rays.

The Devil Rays aren’t the only team to fall victim to a perfect game three times; the other team is the Dodgers. They too, fell victim to a perfect game three times. One when Don Larsen did it in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series when the Dodgers were still calling Brooklyn home-the other two times was in the course of the regular season as the Los Angeles Dodgers.
