Sportsman’s Park II, which was renamed Busch Stadium in 1953, served as the home of the St. Louis Browns from 1902–1953 and the St. Louis Cardinals from 1920-1966.
The ballpark hosted six no-hitters, including a pair thrown on consecutive days in 1917 by the St. Louis Browns’ Ernie Koob and Bob Groom (note that they were not consecutive games because Groom’s came during the second game of a doubleheader).
