The World Baseball Classic debuted in 2006 after the International Olympic Committee removed baseball as an Olympic sport. The tournament, now put on in partnership with MLB, has been held in 2006, 2009, 2013, 2017 and 2023.
There has technically never been an official WBC no-hitter, as both of the no-hit gems thrown ended early under the mercy rule. Here are the two unofficial no-nos:
